The Government of India has officially opened nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025, a prestigious national award that celebrates extraordinary achievements by children across various fields. The deadline for submitting nominations is 31st July 2025, and all applications must be submitted online through the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal. This initiative continues to honour the remarkable contributions of young individuals, thereby encouraging excellence and inspiring future generations. Moreover, it has been noted that the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is conferred annually by the President of India during a ceremonial function held in New Delhi. Widely regarded as one of the highest civilian honours for children, the award seeks to inspire the nation’s youth by showcasing exceptional stories of courage, innovation, and leadership demonstrated by their peers.

Eligibility Criteria:

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) 2025 recognises outstanding achievements by children across India in various fields.

  • The act, incident, or achievement being recognised must have taken place within two years before the closing date for nominations.

  • Nominations may be submitted by any individual or institution, and children may also nominate themselves.
  • In addition, recommendations are accepted from government officials, educational institutions, and Members of Parliament. All nominations must be submitted online through the official Rashtriya Puraskar Portal.
  • The awards will be conferred by the President of India at a formal ceremony held in New Delhi. Each awardee will receive a medal, a certificate, and a citation in recognition of their achievement. The PMRBP continues to serve as a prestigious platform to acknowledge young talent and inspire excellence among India’s youth.

How to apply?

To apply, nominators must first register on the Rashtriya Puraskar Portal by providing essential details such as name, date of birth, contact information, and Aadhaar number.
