Brown, Muhammad, and Lambert Excel in Field Events at Brant Tolsma Invitational
Mannel and Aili Lead Royals with Top Performances at Brant Tolsma Invitational

The Queens University track and field teams competed in the 5th Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational. Halle Perry finished seventh in the pentathlon with 3,365 points, securing first in the long jump. Heloise Louiset placed ninth but won the high jump. Alexander Mannel took second in the heptathlon with 5,193 points, moving into third place all-time at Queens.
At the 5th Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational, the Queens University track and field teams showcased strong performances across various events. Uriah Aili, a graduate student from Ironwood, Michigan, finished third in the men’s 3000-meter with a time of 8:24.75. Aili, who has set multiple school records at Wisconsin-Parkside, was one of the top performers. Livia Wespe, a 5-0 freshman from Schmerikon, Switzerland, led the women’s 3000-meter with an 11th-place finish in 9:58.57 and is studying Exercise & Sport Sciences.
In the heptathlon, Alexander Mannel took second place, winning the 60-meter hurdles and tying for first in the pole vault with Robin Ott. Mannel’s performance moved him into third place all-time at Queens. Jaroslav Sivuha finished third in the heptathlon, while Ott placed 12th and Peter Canak was 14th. Sivuha, a 6-0 sophomore from Tallinn, Estonia, is majoring in Sport Management, and Ott, a 6-2 sophomore from Alzenau, Germany, is studying Exercise & Sport Science.
In the long jump, Jada Brown, a 5-9 freshman from Lenoir, N.C., placed 11th with a mark of 5.56 meters. Amir Muhammad, a 6-3 freshman from Florissant, Mo., finished 21st in the event, while Michael Robinson, a sophomore from Cleveland, Ohio, placed 25th, followed by Josia Ford in 26th. Muhammad is majoring in biology, while Robinson is studying psychology with a minor in sports medicine. Drake Lambert, a 5-8 freshman from Pfafftown, N.C., finished sixth in the pole vault lower finals with a mark of 3.95 meters and is majoring in finance. Jada Brown, who is also a four-time state champion in track and field, is majoring in Interior Architecture and Design.
