Rice University enrolled 2,332 international students, primarily from China, India, Taiwan, South Korea, and Mexico.

The University of Texas at Dallas had 6,887 international students from India, China, Bangladesh, Taiwan, and Iran, the highest number among Texas universities. The University of North Texas enrolled 6,702 international students from India, China, Nepal, Vietnam, and Nigeria. The University of Texas at Arlington had 5,411 international students, primarily from India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and China.
