Fostering Future Innovators: TRONIX Establishes Itself in West Bengal’s Tech Ecosystem

The inaugural TRONIX inter-college robotics competition, held on February 25 and 26, 2025, at The Neotia University (TNU), represented a significant milestone in technical education. Organized by Techniche, the university’s esteemed technical club, the event brought together over 50 participants from leading institutions across West Bengal. With a clear vision of fostering innovation and teamwork, TRONIX served as a platform for showcasing creativity and advanced technological applications.

To challenge the participants' technical skills and problem-solving abilities, the competition incorporated an engaging mix of events. These included Robo-Race, which emphasised speed and precision, Line-Following (Tracer) featuring AI-driven navigation, and Aquatronics, an innovative fusion of robotics and water-based engineering. In addition, Inno-Vision allowed participants to present groundbreaking robotic projects, while Ideathon provided a space for brainstorming futuristic tech solutions. Robo-Race and Aquatronics stood out as the highlights, attracting the highest participation and keeping the audience enthralled.

Beyond the excitement of the competitions, TRONIX succeeded in connecting students, faculty, and robotics experts, thereby creating an immersive environment that celebrated collaboration and technological advancement. The event’s resounding success reflected Techniche’s commitment to nurturing young innovators, effectively establishing TRONIX as a key robotics festival within West Bengal’s growing tech landscape. As TRONIX 2k25 wrapped up, it left a lasting impact, with promises of even bigger and more exciting editions in the future.
