In a significant achievement, the University of Suffolk has been nominated in seven categories at the prestigious WhatUni? Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs), the UK’s only student-led university awards. These nominations highlight the university's dedication to providing an enriching academic and social experience. The shortlisted categories include University of the Year, International, Postgraduate, Student Support, Lecturers and Teaching Quality, Students’ Union, and Facilities.

The WUSCAs, known for their unique approach of being entirely student-driven, ensure that winners are selected based on real student experiences and feedback. The upcoming award ceremony on  21 May, in London, will celebrate institutions that have made a meaningful impact on student life. Additionally, this year introduces a special award for innovation and success in Mental Health and Wellbeing Support, acknowledging universities that have excelled in fostering student welfare.
