It is not just one-sided, as this agreement acknowledges that both institutions have things to contribute in terms of knowledge, expertise, and cultural insight. The appointment of Professor Chux Daniels as Adjunct Professor serves as a very strategic step and symbolises a long-term investment in capacity building and academic leadership. Widening participation in higher education, which is a priority globally, has also been one of the topics brought forward during the visit.
