The objective of the Viksit Bharat 2047 is to make India a developed nation with economic growth, environmental sustainability, social and community progress, and most importantly good governance. To make this vision a reality individuals can contribute by sharing their ideas for the development of India on the MyGov portal. To make students a part of this mission the Verbum Bellum 4.0 debate competition will be organized.

This event aims to create a comprehensive and inclusive forum where students can discuss how India can realize the vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047 and enhance its global standing. This event seeks to provide a dynamic platform for students interested in international politics and law, focusing on the development of a Viksit Bharat. Verbum Bellum 3.0 set a benchmark by offering a robust space for debate during India’s G20 Presidency, attracting over 250 participants from across the country. Notable institutions like Delhi University, Jamia Millia Islamia, and local colleges from Amity Law School, Noida, contributed to the event’s success.

Continuing this tradition, the Viksit Bharat 2047 competition will help students develop critical thinking, reflective analysis of international politics, and polished presentation skills. This event provides a chance for students to check their views and opinions against their peers as well as fosters a rich understanding of the topics discussed.

Key Dates and Important Links of Event:

• The Viksit Bharat 2047 Debate Competition will be held on September 16th and 17th, 2024, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Interested participants can register via the registration link, and more information is available in the brochure.
• The deadline for registration is September 10th, 2024. The competition features three debate formats: Group Discussion and Conventional Debate, each with a fee of ₹500 (exclusive of 18% GST), and Congressional Debate, with a fee of ₹600 (exclusive of 18% GST). Participants are allowed to register for only one event.
