Celebrating Sportsmanship and Dedication of Winners in CBSE Table Tennis Tournament

St. Soldier International Convent School Hosts Successful CBSE Table Tennis Tournament

The CBSE Cluster XVII Table Tennis Tournament recently concluded at St. Soldier International Convent School in Mohali. The event commenced with a grand march passed by NCC cadets and Scouts and Guides volunteers, warmly welcoming the chief guest, Dr. Rakesh Malik from the Directorate of Sports at Panjab University, Chandigarh.

In the U-14 girls’ singles, first position was held by Sherrel from DPS, Chandigarh, followed by Akaal Roop from Learning Paths School, Mohali secured second, and Bhumika from St. Anne’s, Chandigarh, and Avneet from Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali, shared third place. For the U-19 boys’ singles, Eeshan from DAV-8, Chandigarh, took the top place, with Aditya Gupta from Learning Paths School, Mohali, securing second place. The third position was shared by Mehtaab from LADM DAV, Budhlada, and Amarasees from Manav Mangal Smart School, Mohali.

The closing ceremony featured a beautiful welcome song performed by the host school, followed by the eagerly awaited prize distribution to honor the tournament winners. Dr. Rakesh Malik addressed the audience, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks from Principal Anjli Sharma, marking the successful end of a competitive tournament.
