Round 1 Seat Allotment Results Announced for JAC Delhi Counselling 2024

The Joint Admission Committee (JAC), Delhi has announced the results for the 2024 Round 1 seat allotment on their official website at jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in. In the initial round of counselling, candidates who got seat offers have the option to either confirm or move their seats. By July 4 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., selected candidates must physically appear in person at the designated colleges for document verification. Candidates must pay the acceptance fee online to claim their seats and if individuals are satisfied with their seats and do not want to be considered for a higher priority seat or institution, they may freeze their assigned seats.

After checking the seat allotment result students can download the file and take a printout for future reference. The JAC counselling procedure determines a student's admission to BTech programs at NSUT, DTU, and IGDTUW based on their performance in JEE Main Paper 1. Percentile results from JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 will be taken into account for admissions to IIT Delhi. Extra points will also be awarded for accomplishments in Olympiads, sports, culture, innovation, and other fields.

JAC counselling provided 6,666 BTech and 90 BArch seats last year. Candidates must obtain at least 60 percent in physics, chemistry, and mathematics as well as pass the Senior School Certificate (SSC) exam in English to be considered for admission to the BE, BTech, and dual degree programs at DTU, IGDTUW, NSUT, and DSEU. On the other hand, candidates must receive at least 80 percent in mathematics in the qualifying exam and in the combined best five disciplines (physics, chemistry, and mathematics) to be admitted to IIT Delhi's BTech program. To get admission to B.Tech colleges in Delhi students have to complete JAC Delhi registration, candidates will be allotted seats in a total of four rounds of counselling.
