Editor’s Note:
The launch of the International School of Law at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is a timely and important step in expanding access to high-quality legal education in India. At a time when legal systems across the world are becoming more connected, the introduction of globally focused courses such as environmental law, cyber law, and international arbitration prepares students not only for national practice but also for international careers in law, policy, and governance. By combining a strong academic foundation with hands-on learning through moot courts, internships, and legal aid clinics, the school aims to produce socially aware and professionally capable lawyers.
Skoobuzz emphasises that with the growing demand for legal professionals who understand both Indian and global systems, this initiative will help bridge critical skill gaps in the legal field. Amrita’s move reflects a broader shift in education, one that values both tradition and innovation.
