NTA Releases Results for AIEEA-PG 2024 and AICE JRF/SRF Exams

ICAR Postpones JRF and SRF Counselling for 2024-25 Academic Session

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has postponed all existing ICAR JRF and SRF (PhD) counseling for the 2024-25 academic session as announced in its official notice. This counseling will now occur in January and February in conjunction with the PG program counseling for the veterinary stream. In addition, all postgraduate programs now have a cut-off date of January 15 to complete their degrees and PDC. Counseling for PG programs will, however, continue as planned, except for the veterinary stream.

SATHEE ICAR is an initiative of the IIT Kanpur to support students who are preparing for the ICAR UG entrance exams. This initiative provides free resources, recorded lectures from IIT professors, live interactive classes with experts, subject-specific practice questions, and AI-driven analytics to help identify areas for improvement which will help the students to prepare for the exam well. The mock tests enable students to compare their performance with peers nationwide. The SATHEE ICAR program also includes mock tests that enable students to compare their performance with peers nationwide. Interested candidates can register by visiting the official website at icar.iitk.ac.in or by downloading the SATHEE app from the App Store or Google Play.

In another update, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results for the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission Postgraduate (AIEEA-PG) 2024 and the All India Competitive Examinations (AICE) JRF and SRF (PhD) on August 14. Out of 46,452 registered students, 41,148 took part in the exam, which was conducted on June 29 at 170 centers across 91 cities. The computer-based test lasted two hours and featured 120 questions, with each question worth four marks and a penalty of one mark for incorrect answers.
