Good News for Applicants: JNU Extends UG and COP Program Registration Deadline

Great news for all the prospective undergraduate aspirants of Jawaharlal Nehru University, as the deadline for submitting online application forms for admission to undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programs has been extended till August 14, 11.50 pm, providing students more time to apply for their desired course.

Based on the schedule, candidates who made mistakes on their registration form can rectify it only during the specified time slot of August 13 to August 14 through the correction window. Candidates who still want to fill out the form can complete the procedure online at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. by registering themselves using the NTA application number and date of birth. Seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their CUET scores.

Eligibility requirements for JNU UG and COP programs:

• Students applying for BA and BSc programs must have completed class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks.
• JNU admissions will be based on scores from the National Testing Agency's Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2024).
• Candidates willing to apply for Certificate of Proficiency (COP) Programmes, must have obtained at least 45% marks in class 12 and are notified that there will be no viva voce examination for admission to  BA, BSc, or COP programs.
• Application fees must be paid before the submission of the application form, which, for UG programs is Rs. 268 and for COP programs it is 219.
• Applicants are recommended to continue visiting the official JNU websites for additional information as the first allotment list is expected to be issued by August 21.
