CUET UG 2024: Why did NTA postpone May 15 exam across centres in Delhi?

CUET UG 2024 exam dates in Delhi, for Chemistry and Biology, have been shifted from May 15 to May 29, 2024. The reason declared for this was that enough staff wasn’t available to help with the exams due to the elections.

On the postponement of the exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) commented that they were facing a hard time getting enough invigilators to supervise the exams in Delhi because of the elections. So to ensure smooth conduction of exams, they decided to move the exam to a later date which is post the elections. However, exams in other cities on May 15 and in Delhi on May 16, 17, and 18 are being conducted as scheduled.

Admit cards went online for CUET UG 2024 on May 13 but later, candidates were advised to download them only after May 14 evening since any changes in the exam center might not show up in the admit card before that.

CUET UG 2024 exams are happening from May 15 to 24 with about 13.48 lakh students appearing in these exams in many centers, even in 26 cities outside India. From May 15 to 18, exams will be in pen and paper mode, but after that, they will be conducted online. Students can get their admit cards from exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.
