Empowerment Through Education: CET 2024 Opens Doors to Rehabilitation Studies

Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (dasvnortar@gmail.com) and other top institutes, including, National Institute for Locomotive Disabilities (mail@nioh.com), National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (nicpmd@gov.in), Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities (diriph@nic.in), Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation and Empowerment (CRCSRE) of Persons with Disabilities (crcguwahati@gmail.com), are hosting the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2024. 

All the above-mentioned institutions are under DEPwD (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the test caters to students who want to study professional courses in rehabilitation. Eligible candidates for the Common Entrance Test (2024) can apply to Professional Degree Courses like Physiotherapy (BPT), Occupational Therapy (BOT), Prosthetics & Orthotics (BPO), and Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (BASLP). For these courses, it is compulsory to have studied English and Sciences in 10+2. 

SVNIRTAR is also conducting the Post-Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2024 for programs like Physiotherapy (MPT), Occupational Therapy (MOT), and Prosthetics & Orthotics (MPO) and to be eligible for that they will need a bachelor's degree in the related field.

Interested applicants can apply for the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) 2024 for master's programs like Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Prosthetics & Orthotics and to qualify for that they will need a bachelor's degree in the related field. Applications started on April 15, 2024, and closed on 20, 2024, with the date of entrance being 23 July, 2024. This is a great chance for students who want to study rehabilitation and disability services.
