University of Tartu Welcomes International Students for Bachelor’s and Medicine Programs

The University of Tartu has invited international students interested in English-taught curricula to submit their applications through DreamApply, with studies set to begin in September 2025. This year, the university is offering admission to 29 programs, which include 26 master’s degrees, two bachelor’s degrees, and an integrated curriculum in medicine.

Applicants are encouraged to use the curriculum search system, which provides an overview of available programs, includes a user-friendly search feature, and helps individuals find a program that best suits their needs. Both those graduating in the summer of 2025 and those who have graduated in previous years are eligible to apply. The application deadline for international master's programs is 15 March, while the deadlines for bachelor's and integrated medicine programs are 15 April. However, there is an exception for the Erasmus Mundus joint master's program Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, coordinated by the University of Tartu, for which the application deadline is 5 January.

The application requirements vary depending on the program, and applicants are advised to consult the specific curriculum’s webpage for detailed information. Estonian applicants can start submitting applications to international programs via the admission information system SAIS beginning 1 February. Additional information is available on the University of Tartu's admissions website. The applicants are encouraged to apply for the programs timely as the deadlines for master’s, bachelor’s, and integrated medicine programs are in March and April.
